Deleting some files is a necessary procedure when there is a safety problem on your PC – you suspect possible viruses or some system processes are preventing the Windows from normal functioning. Misleading anti-spyware is more likely to make your computer act weird and freeze, you might get annoyed with continuous pop-ups or malware may successfully function in your system without any signs of life at all. If you believe something is wrong with your computer, it is better to make sure. If you are not an advanced user, you may remove some important files from your PC, that’s why please back up such files. Run the trusted security application – it will find the viruses if they are there.
If you already know the name or the harmful file – find it on your machine: simply run the search via “Start” than press “Search”, “All Files or Folders” to get to the necessary object.

If harmful file is hidden go to My Computer, select “Tools” >”Folder options” .

Than go to View inset and make all the hidden files visible ( do like in illustration) because most of the important system files are usually protected and malware may be assimilated with them.
However, some files may still be invisible. Then you should try to reach them via Command Prompt, to enter it press “Start” > “Run”, type in “cmd”.

When the window shows up, insert “dir / name_of_the_folder” – you will see all the hidden files.

And if you are confident that you know name of infected file or folder you can esily delete it with the help of commands : “del name_of_the_file” to remove file and “rmdir /S name_of_the_folder” to remove folder. Command cd will be irreplaceable to navigate to the folders, to use it you must type “cd name_of_the_folder”.

Sometimes you may get a notification that the files cannot be deleted, because they are in use. You can cope with this by means of task manager by simply choosing the necessary bad process you need to wipe out and pressing “End the process”.
Please remember that if these processes are too complicated for you and you are afraid of doing harm to your computer – ask for professional help.
